How to Register
Consign Home Décor events, held in conjunction with seasonal KidStuff Sale Events, are a win/win due to the fantastic shopping traffic!

These Consignment sales bring together sellers and shoppers of home Décor items as well as thousands of young KidStuff families/shoppers just setting up household. These events provide a venue, other than classified advertising or consignment stores, to sell quality used home Décor and furnishings.


Moving Services
Consign Home Décor events partners with local movers to provide a hassle free, reasonably priced alternative to moving your home furnishing items to our season sale events. If you have larger furniture items you would like to sell at one of our events, email info@ConsignHomeDecor.com.

Why Consign Home Décor?
  • Interested in selling or shopping for quality used Home Décor items?
  • Have you changed room Décor and need to unload items that no longer work?
  • Have you moved or downsized to a smaller home?
  • Consignment is a fabulous opportunity to sell unwanted Home Décor items without having a yard sale, placing ads in the newspaper and/ or strangers coming into your home. You determine the asking price - bring your items to our event and receive 70% of the selling price less a $12 registration fee which will be deducted from you proceeds!
  • We advertise the event and manage the sale over all - you simply drop off your items, we stage them for you then at the end of the event you receive a check and have the option to pick up or donate your unsold goods.
  • As a sale participant, you also get to shop the sale first before we open to the public. This is a great way to redecorate for less.

We accept the following types of items at Consign Home Décor events: sofa, love seats, entertainment centers, recliners, dining room sets, kitchen sets, accent tables and chairs, furniture of all kinds!

  • Decorative and accent pieces such as prints, art work, vases, rugs, lamps, Decorative bowls, platters, mirrors, frames, current style floral arrangements, seasonal Décorations, and knick knacks, etc.
  • Décor items can be for any room of the house. We also encourage antiques, vintage items and collectibles.
  • House wares and small appliances are not considered Decorative items and may be accepted on a case by case basis after inspection. Accepted items will not be placed on the sale floor until the final weekend of the sale event, thank you for understanding!
Sofas, dining room sets, and other large furniture items are the anchor pieces for vignettes staged by our Decorator - Consign Home Décor partners with a local mover to help you get your furniture items to our event.

Often times Consign Home Decor events are held in conjunction with our season KidStuff Sale events! KidStuff Sale events draw shoppers from all over Kentuckiana providing excellent exposure and increased sales for home décor items!

It is easy to prepare tags for your items!

There are three options for tagging your home décor items:

1.) You can choose to register via our online system and enter your items within this system – this option allows you to type your descriptions and track your sales daily online during the event. This option provides the most detail to track inventory, verify what has sold allowing you to call and adjust pricing mid-sale and to project over all sales. To register click on the KidStuff Sale link above and choose either the Louisville or Oldham Co. sale – we do not accept home décor at the Southern Indiana Sale.





2.) Or, if you'd rather hand fill your descriptions you can – this form generates an email to us - we will register you for the sale and email you back your tags! This option also provides inventory tracking as long as the seller maintains a hand written list of item numbers and corresponding prices.





3.) A third option is to use a 4x6 index card to create tags for your Home Décor items. Each item would have a index card tag with your seller #, item # and price written on the card. This option provides no online reporting and at the end of the sale you would receive a printed report indicating which item #’s sold.
